easy access to waterfront and dining spots
I loved how this place was conveniently situated in Green Point, making it super easy to stroll to the V&A Waterfront in just over a kilometer and enjoy the scenic views along the way, with great eateries like El Burro and Shift Espresso Bar just a short walk away.

Absoluteley charming setting but the service was less than acceptable. I was given a broken heater and had to trek in my pajamas to fetch an oil heater myself. Not to mention, they couldn't even provide reliable wifi, scandalous. I can't believe I didn't get a welcome gift for all this trouble.

The feel of the hotel is like a home from home. Everyone is so friendly and helpful especially with information to assist you getting to tourist places. The garden setting is absolutely charming.
My husband thought our poolside apartment was dark because of the density of shrubs around the garden, but I absolutely adored it.

Well-maintained outdoor pool and lovely garden area.
The breakfast situation was intolerable. There were insufficient staff to manage the number of guests, leading to long waits for food and even empty plates. I faced a frustrating situation when I was left without any breakfast options for two days, forcing me to leave the guesthouse to find food elsewhere. The rooms, while clean, showed signs of wear and needed urgent repairs that detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.

The ease of the booking and checking in and out administration. The accomodation and breakfast are great.
Breakfast starts a little too late - 08h00. 07h30 would have suited me better, but that is my opinion.

The place is fantastic !!! The rooms were so wonderful I just wanted to stay in. It is really close to the Waterfront (which was my favourite area in cpt). The management is super friendly. They have european power points in the rooms. Nice touches as flowers and glasses for wine. The breakfast is very good. And also very easy to get transportation around cpt from the Main Road a few meters down. I loved it and would be my 1st choice when/if I return to cpt (if I can afford).
I have nothing to dislike in particular; just the general practice that check-out time everywhere is getting earlier and earlier. 11Am is early; it should be at least 12pm ...

Opt for a room away from the entrance to minimize noise disturbances from late arrivals.

Cosy place, nice environment, nice staff, free WiFi, the cheapest in the neighborhood.

The rooms (stayed in 2 different ones because I extended my stay) were lovely; I almost wanted to stay in all day! Very friendly staff; Great breakfast; Really close to V&A Waterfront and shops on Main Road. Cute touches all around. Fast wi-fi. All very nice.
The water in the shower didn't go down fast enough, but as it was "my water" I don't think of it as a real negative aspect. No negative comments.

Excellent email response to initial booking despite credit card difficulties and helpful to organise taxis to and from airport. Staff were very helpful and friendly. great location. Poolside apartment was comfortable and offered self contained setup.
No airconditioners in room although upright fans were available, Staff smoked outside my window which was adjacent to the reception area, no fly screens on windows.

great location but needs better lighting
The guest house had a cozy charm with beautifully decorated spaces. The pool area was inviting, perfect for lounging, and I appreciated the friendly staff who were attentive to every detail. It was just a short 10-minute stroll to the waterfront, with plenty of dining options nearby.
The common areas lacked sufficient lighting for evening use.

The breakfast featured classic fried fish, expertly prepared and a delicious surprise. The charming atmosphere extended to the beautifully decorated rooms, upgraded with original artwork. The steep incline to the guesthouse left me breathless, and the tiled stairs posed a challenge, particularly for those with mobility issues. The pool was rather cold.
